Looking for a non run-of-the-mill wedding video? Looking for something that actually reflects you as a couple, all the while taking in the enormity of your day? Then look no further than Andy Lenihan of Glasgow Wedding Videos.
From the moment we watched some sample of his work, we knew this was the guy for us. He 'got' us. Understood our personalities and recognised that on the big day, neither of us had plans to morph into some crazed fiend that bears no resemblence to our day-to-day selves!
What we loved about Andy is that he also films music videos, and really knows how to play up cinematic effect to amazing proportions. On the day, everything was really relaxed, and although a formal occasion, felt like you had one of your mates making the video. That really helped as neither Mr Roo nor I very good at taking ourselves too seriously.
For me, the best bit was seeing how utterly old skool hollywood he had made the photograph section of the day. It was great to see the photos that we had received from our photographer, come to life, there are some brilliant wee bits there, and it was nice to relive them.
It was also good to see the part of the photographs that were outside, just Mr Roo and I, when the rain had ceased for half an hour. We had so much fun, and even Andy himself said it was a great wedding to film.
I would heartily recommend him if you're looking for more than just your usual wedding video look. Plus you get a copy in blu-ray!
